St. Joseph's Boys' Higher Secondary School
is a Government of Kerala aided institution. The School follows the Kerala
State syllabus. Upper Primary and High School have both English and Malayalam
medium sections. The Higher Secondary Section follows English as the medium
of instruction. Every year about 250 students appear for the Secondary School Leaving
Certificate (S.S.L.C.) Examination and about 200 students of the Higher
Secondary Section appear for Higher Secondary Examination. We are proud
to have about 95% results in these Examinations.

Upper Primary & High School

Admissions
are only to the Vth standard, which is done in the month of May. Application
Forms for this can be collected from the school office tentatively
in the first week of March. There will not be admissions to any other
class in the Upper Primary and High School Sections. However vacancies
that arise in the other classes will be filled at the same time. Admissions
will be done only on the basis of screening test and interview. Fees
will be charged only according to the Kerala Government specifications.

All the students learn
English as their First Language and have the option of choosing either
Hindi or Malayalam as their Second Language. The strength of each
class is 50.
The tentative
admission date is around last week of June. Application Forms can
be bought from the School office soon after S.S.L.C. results are declared.
The admissions are conducted as per the instructions from the Directorate
of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala State. The Rank List for admission
will be prepared on the basis of index marks. Reservations for Backward
and Catholic students will be followed. Fee structure will be as per
Kerala Government specifications.
